Unable to drag and drop files desktop to Trash or Home

Greetings folks. New OpenSUSE Leap user here with a tiny problem.

If I create a test file on the KDE Plasma desktop and attempt to copy that file to Trash or Home, I get an error dialog box saying “Access Denied to .”
This appears to be Bug 354484 which was fixed way back in November 2015. Is this a regression, or just a case of the fix not making its way to Leap yet?

Well, that bug has been fixed on Nov. 18th.
But Plasma 5.4.3 that’s currently in Leap 42.1 has been released on Nov. 10th already.

So obviously it cannot have the fix yet.

The latest Plasma 5.5.4 has been submitted as update for Leap 42.1 last Monday though, and should be released soon.
