UEFI boot and install from PXE with cobbler? (Cobbler + dnmasq + tftp + apache2 + autoyast)

Hello everyone!

I am looking for help, because I can’t find how to do this, currently I mount systems on BIOS equipment without problem with cobbler, dnsmaq, tftp and apache with autoyast.

I am encountering the problem that the most modern equipment does not allow Bios to boot, only UEFI and I have to configure dnsmasq to send UEFI, but I cannot find documentation to do it. Someone might take me a cable?

I am not sure I understand what it means. Can you explain in more details? Do you want to configure PXE boot for UEFI?

Yeap, sorry I think I dont explained correctly! :frowning:

Actually I have a server with cobbler + dnsmasq + tftp + apache2 for autoinstall PC via autoyast, until now all hardware “clients” have bios for boot.

When this clients are powered On run pxe and contact with cobbler server and run installation, but now have “clients” with only boot from EFI, and need change parameters in dnsmasq.conf for support this new machines

Answering your question briefly. If I want to use PXE for UEFI with dnsmasq software

Hopefully this helps (see 7.2):
