Tumbleweed Update Error

When logging into KDE openSUSE tumbleweed, this error pops up multiple times:
**

I can’t really find anything on google about it.

If this information is useful at all:

zypper lr --uri

Nothing to do.

I think that message is from the desktop update applet. It probably indicates that its data from the repos is out-of-date.

I’m not sure why that happened. However, your “zypper up” output shows that everything is fine.

  1. For Tumbleweed please use
zypper dup
  1. The Nvidia Repo is now building new, you get an 404 if you try to open it with your browser:
    https://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/tumbleweed/

Yes I used dup of course, but I saw in other threads here people were constantly asked to post the contents of “zypper up” so I wanted to get that out of the way before anyone asked. I asked in the IRC and saw there too that there is problems with the Nvidia repo, which I also confirmed with zypper ref. I guess I should just wait it out then?

Yes.

If you are impatient, then you can temporarily disable the nvidia repo to update anything else. But remember to re-enable when you are done.
