sudo zypper dup offering alternatives. I have no knowledge of cjs or gjs. I don’t want to remove gnome or cinnamon desktops.
I’ve waited a day with no change to alternatives.
Wait longer? or Make a selection?
thanks, tom kosvic

As you should know after so many years, one normally posts the link of the bug report here so others can read it and can eventually add important information to it.
Bug issue was resolved with comment below. I still have no idea what cjs or gjs do but I will look them up and post a comment. I did want to keep cinnamon available for a fallback in event mate gets garbled. Not sure if that will happen but will also check.

Probably this one., assuming you want gjs and don't use cinnamon.
I hope this helps, closing for now.
You are receiving this mail because:
You reported the bug.
Using option 2 suggested by bug resolution message. I found several more options as shown below. I don’t think bug resolution solved anything.
Problem seems to be cinnamon desktop. My install is some mix of v6.6 and v6.4. Update wants to install some things from 6.2.
I will try remove of cinnamon and reinstall from the “pattern” for a test.

I deleted cinnamon pattern and the updates (153 in number) proceeded successfully. Afterwards, I tried reinstalling cinnamon and the install wants to remove half, or so, of the gnome files.
Apparently there are some conflicts between gnome and cinnamon.
For the short term, I will keep gnome and leave cinnamon uninstalled.
