Tumbleweed - boot from usb, shim sbat failure

Hi everyoney
Trying to boot from usb stick but getting following message:

Verifying shim SBAT data failed: Security Policy Violation
Something has gone seriously wrong: SBAT self-check failed: Security Policy Violation

Disabling secure boot does seems to be a workaround. Any ideas how to fix this? (I had fedora installed with secure boot enabled before)

https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:UEFI#Reset_SBAT_string_for_booting_to_old_shim_in_old_Leap_image

Thank you very much!!!

A note on this:

The wiki entry is based on Leap using shim-5.7. However, both Leap 15.5 and Leap 15.6RC are now using shim 5.8, and this fix does not work as well.

Yes, it will still reset as long as you only boot Tumbleweed. But if you ever boot Leap 15.5 or 15.6, the same problem will occur again, at least according to my tests.

To dual boot both Leap and Tumbleweed, you will need to disable secure-boot, or to always use the Leap shim for booting Tumbleweed.
