Trying to install Google Talk Plugin

Can any of you experts look at the following output from my attempt to install the Google-Talk Plugin and give me advice on how to proceed getting this accomplished. Thank you.

Despite the output at the bottom of the provided output. I found that it nonetheless installed. It is working but does not seem to be working well. So installation is no longer the problem. However I am wondering if this output might be telling me why the performance is less than acceptable at this point.

AFAIK Google Talk has been dead/unsupported since approx Feb 2015.

The recommended substitute is Google Hangouts (which is Google Talk plus social media).

You should be able to install the Google Hangouts extension through the Google Store for your Chromium (or Chrome) browser.

Tsu2, This program (Google Talk) was called for when I attempted to place a call using the newly installed Hangouts application. I was running on Firefox at the time. Maybe it would not have called for it if I had been running Chrome? I do have Chrome installed.
