Transmission and Ktorrent stuck on downloading metadata from 0 peer(s)

Hi, I’ve been experiencing problems with torrent clients in OpenSuse, I had the same issue in CentOs and had no clue how to resolve it. uTorrent works fine on my android device and I currently don’t have the experience to diagnose the problem, here’s a log:

As you can see, it’s completely stuck… Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.

I noticed that ktorrent’s default is DHT disabled if you’'re using magnets and have DHT off you won’t get any data, enable dht

from ktorrent’s menu chose settings->configure ktorrent and enable DHT (see image)

ps. try qbittorrent it’s available from opensuse’s oss repository
