Tinkerboard S & tumbleweed

hi,

I’m new to opensuse, but not new to Linux. I have an asus tinkerboard S that’s currently running debian, and I would like it to run opensuse tumbleweed. I see that the uboot image is here: https://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Tinker_Board

but i have no idea about how to go about installing on using tumbleweed. If anyone can give me some pointers then I’d appreciate that!

On the page I read:

The Tumbleweed kernel should support this device. The rk3288-tinker.dts however is not yet included in 4.11.

Checked the current kernel and see that rk3288-tinker.dts is included so booting Tumbleweed should be fine.
I think you best follow the instructions for Raspberry Pi and see how far you come.

The U-boot instruction describes what is required to deploy the image.
