Thunderbird

Following some online updates, Thunderbird now reports this when I try
to send to some newsgroups:

“Sending of message failed.
Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account settings are correct
and try again.”

None of the account settings changed, and I was able to post before.
Anybody else seeing this? Any cures?

I did see a thread yesterday mention this. But it is not happening to me. I am using the version from default not the build service.

Mine is default too. Saw one thread on the Mozilla list that mentioned
enigmail, but I’m not using that as far as I know…
