Thunderbird cursor pop-up help messages

Not sure what these pop-up messages are called, the ones that pops up when you held the cursor above a button, but the ones in Thunderbird remains on and on top of other applications. As shown in the image attatched, Thunderbird is behind FireFox, but the message still is visible.

Not a huge problem, but starting to get a bit annoying, any good suggestion how to either turn them off, or to fix the problem so they do not are visible in other applications?

I run TW with KDE.

Thanks,

I just figured out how to disable in Thunderbird (Config Editor > set browser.chrome.toolbar_tips to false), but the best would of course have them enabled and that they did not remain active on top over other applications. Maybe a bug then as I have fresh install of TW, but it was also present on my previous installation, so 100% sure this is not a user config/issue, and strange if not also other have seen this.
(BTW, the reason I have fresh install has nothing to do with this).
