Hello,
does anyone know why version 145 of Thunderbird is not available for Opensuse? Release date was November 13, 2025.
Thanks
Created at openbuildservice but build are disable and still in version 144.
Something maybe wrong somewhere in project.
As you tagged “other” for your operating system, do you expect this question answered for all supported versions of openSUSE?
I use Tumbleweed, Slowroll and 15.6, so should I use all tags for the question? What has the tag to do with the question?
@ubecker The one and only Maintainer busy with other things, holidays, hack week etc…
Not sure if it would appear for Leap 15.6 looks like a few missing build requires.
Also there is a delay for Tumbleweed snapshots…
Because it helps in finding out where you see the problem. People with that version can look and maybe will try to reproduce it. Thus when you do not even explain you have it in several version, how can people know? In any case it is not “other” then the supported versions, which is what “other” implies.
I think OP had no other options. If they would have tagged it as Leap 16, then also refer to TW or 15.6, you would have argued about that too. I get the reasoning.
The technical support sections are for specific questions about specific problems. This topic is not about any problem to start with and is not specific, so it does not belong to this section where tagging is mandatory. There is Open Chat where no tags are enforced.
It’s available on Slowroll ![]()
The Mozilla repo for TW only has MozillaThunderbird-144.0.1
It is not possible that SR has a newer version than TW.
I would not have argued if an explanation about it would have been at the top of the post. The more because the version of a product is possibly different for different versions of openSUSE. And yes, I agre with @arvidjaar , it should be moved.
I haven’t updated my system since yesterday or maybe the day before yesterday. Perhaps another repo?
This could be verified by providing a repo list…
Atm, all mirrors here still only show 144 in the Mozilla devel repo.
I guess syncing takes a while ![]()
Could you show your repo list?
Wasn’t this about Thunderbird?
