Do we really need dozens of threads about the same problem?

Hi dwight. In most cases when a frequently occurring problem generates many similar questions here, we answer them politely. Forgive our snippy member, we all have bad days occasionally and clearly it’s gropuiskill’s time for a bad day. Hang on and I’ll see if I can find someone who understands the package manager.

Hi Dwight,

Sorry too, for the rude first response. From what you posted I’d say you’ve been hit by some server trouble at download.opensuse.org, i.e. the update repo. I don’t know what caused it, but it’s all back to normal now. I noticed this this morning too. For now, run ‘zypper ref’ again, and see if the errors persist. Wouldn’t think so, all OK here.

Please let know if you got it sorted.

Gertjan

Um… thank you for apologizing for my behaviour, but that should be up to me, shouldn’t it?

It makes a forum less usable when so many redundant threads are created about the same topic. This forum offers a search function and it is reasonable to use it. My comment was not meant as an attack or a snippy remark.
