It never disaapeared. It is still the same: systemmonitor, accessible via start menu and terminal.
The package is named plasma6-systemmonitor.
There are quite a few system-info tools available that offer great features and are not DE-specific.
Are you referring to a tool that is DE-specific?? If so, you didn’t mention the DE you’re using.

What I was looking for (and initially could not find) was the health of my RAID1 system.
