I’m so-so on it – sometimes I appreciate the simplicity, and it other times I feel its kinda of boring and blah.
Though, I certainly know that many others seem to really like it.
and the Plymouth theme, which is the wallpaper but animated.
Umm, unless I’m missing something, the 13.1 plymouth theme isn’t animated at all but is just a static image … I much preferred the earlier openSUSE releases which used (for lack of better description) the (actually) animated “fireflies” plymouth theme.
