telegram-desktop-3.7.3-3.1.x86_64 is not compatible with libQt6Core6-6.3.1-1.1.x86_64.
(nothing provides ‘libQt6Core.so.6(Qt_6.3.0_PRIVATE_API)(64bit)’ needed by the to be installed telegram-desktop-3.7.3-3.1.x86_64)
although telegram-desktop-4.0.0 downloadable from Telegram installs and works fine
Same here. I uninstalled from OpenSUSE repos and downloaded from telegram.org site v4.0 version
telegram-desktop fails to build against current libraries, so what is available to download is some old binary built against outdated versions of libraries. Often such old binary continues to work, but when required libraries have incompatible changes you get such issue.
Someone needs to fix telegram-desktop.
