tearing Nvidia kaart

Mijn oude videokaart (AMD) is overleden.
Nieuwe kaart gekocht, en dit keer een Nvidiakaart (GP107 geforce GTX1050)

Aangezien op dit systeem ook wel een een spelletje wordt gespeeld (Steam) moest ik de Nvidia drivers installeren.
Heb dit gedaan volgens:

Geen probleem met Steam, de spellen werken perfect.

Maar nu heb ik een erg irritante “screen tearing” vooral als ik scroll in Firefox.
Een oplossing vond ik hier:

nvidia-settings -> x server display configuration -> advanced -> force composition pipeline

Probleem is alleen als ik het systeem herstart, de instelling wordt gereset.
Hoe kan ik deze instelling permanent maken?

Probably the easiest way would be to add it as a start up script.

If you’re using KDE/Plasma you can do this in System Settings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Autostart.
Add bin/fcp here.

You might want to append fcp 1 to the script possibly I’m guessing.

Thanks for your response, but adding it to autostart did not work.
Next time I will buy a AMD… :wink:
