System Settings SDDM Theme Crashes - Plasma 6.7.0

The last update (20260625) included Plasma 6.7.1 and sddm_kcm fixed it.

For me the last update did not help

Information for package sddm-kcm6:
----------------------------------
Repository : repo-oss
Name : sddm-kcm6
Version : 6.7.1-1.1

The crash is the same:

So I keep running with sddm-kcm6-6.6.5

As the problem for that Java application is largely solved by enabling DRI3 but not completely I tried also downgrading the i915 driver kernel-firmware-i915 but that also did not make a difference. That is all for X11, will check Wayland to see how things are there.

I’ve been wondering about having to also search for it for some time.

To get the Login Screen (SDDM) menu item back I did enable DRI3 and to fix the crash, see the opening post.
