My laptop can get pretty hot while doing certain tasks (mostly blender). I’ve been using GNOME and on most distros i could go to the ‘Power’ section in the gnome settings and select ‘Power saving mode’, and that would help keep the computer cooler. However, that option does not show up for me!
I see people recommend powerdevil, but that seems to be a Plasma only option. And i cant seem to find alternatives, or the package that will show power options on gnome.
Does anyone happen to know the right package to show those settings in GNOME or any (preferably simple) CLI way to switch to power saving mode?
