suse studio error?

I was 1/2 way through building an appliance and the site messed up, showing:

Software groups

    * Loading package groups...

Without the information usually listed in each section, all repos I had are gone and most of the packages I had added are now gone.

These sections are now empty:

What error caused this? It’s the first time I’ve seen this happen. I’d start the process over again but if it does this again, that’s even more time wasted. I did notice a couple of popups saying a script problem and I tried clicking end it or continue and when I clicked continue the problems above occurred. Should I click end script when there’s a problem to avoid this in the future? Why is a script having a problem?

I noticed that you hadn’t seen an answer on this issue yet - and can
pursue this for you if the issue is still present for you (I myself have
not seen this - so I suspect it might’ve been a temporary issue).

Let me know and we’ll see what we can come up with.

When using SUSE Studio, I am using Firefox with any/all script blocking/modifying plugins disabled (Noscript/AdblockPlus), so it’s not a fault of one of the Mozilla Addons.

The problem appears at random, but may occur once I’ve quickly clicked “Add” next to several packages to install without waiting for the circular animation at left to add an individual package and display the result before clicking on another package to add. It may be I’m adding packages too quickly and the script error occurs when trying to refresh the page, that’s a guess.

The problem is resolved by clicking "Stop Script". If you click “Continue” instead of “Stop” when the unresponsive script popup window appears, the problem I described in my OP occurs. When you click “Stop” the script, you may continue as normal in working with SUSE Studio. Thank you for following up on this issue.

Ouch, sounds like an intermittent problem; those are always difficult to
troubleshoot and update. I’ll pass the report along to the studio team,
they may be aware of it already.

Suggestion from the devs was to use the feedback link on the site when it
happens - that captures more information they can use to track the issue
down.
