You know that you can run KDE3 on openSUSE 11.4 by adding the KDE3
repositories?
Or if you look for something which is still supported and has KDE3 you may
want to install Centos 5.6 or Scientific Linux 5.6 (not SL6 which comes with
KDE 4). Both are not end of life before 2017.

Sorry a really bad typo: not end of life before 2014 - sorry. So you have 3
years support for kde3 with the red hat clones.

unfortunately you are swimming upstream wanting to keep 10.3
alive/updated (btw, 10.3 was my daily driver until Feb of this
year–but, i had updated the day before it went EOL)…that said, here
is my full list of places where old stuff might be available

repos old discontinued out of date, not supported:

NOTE: if you find others please post again so i can update my list…
just something to think about: if your time is of any value, it might be
cheaper to install SLED 11 (or even 10) both of which are still
supported AND in the first (free) 60 days you can update (i think) to
current security patches…and then decide if you want/need future
patches (at less than the cost of [say] an annual Norten/McCaffe license)…
but wait: i am NOT pushing Attachmate support, and stand to gain nothing
if you purchase millions of clams of support contracts–just laying out
the options…oh, they peddle a much less glitzy, much more “office
ready” version of Gnome…
