I don’t know what’s going on opensuse tumbleweed anymore but this week is been rough for me. Left and right problems. But anyway as the title said I’m stuck at Plymouth switch root service on fresh installed of tumbleweed on grub2+bls. Anyone can help me?
It’s a fresh install right. Why not reinstall it for the second time and this time choose not the grub+bls. Maybe you will have succsess by doing so. I see some threads with problem regarding the gub+bls.
Likely a plymouth issue, so when you first boot and at grub,
press the e key to edit the boot options,
Use the arrow keys to go down to the line starting linux or linuxefi and then locate an entry with plymouthin it and change it to plymouth.enable=0press the F10 key to boot.
That should get something started, resolution may not be great, but at least can get additional information about your system(s).
Are you using grub-bls bootloader?
I did this but if I pick grub2+efi I won’t able to type my keystroke when grub ask for my password on my / directory.
Yup!
But don’t worry I just reinstalled again and everything is working fine now.
