Strange toe on Geeko

Hello all,

First of all I want to say I like the branding of openSUSE 11.4.
But one thing I find very strange is the “toe” on Geeko in the bootsplash.

AFAIK it only appears in the bootsplash, here’s the image containing the “toe”:

It isn’t very clear since the image is on a white background,
but when you click and drag the image on the dark background of the site you can see the strange “toe” clearly.

I would like to know the reason for this.

AFAIK, it’s the super minimized trademark logo…

So it is the letters TM minimized greatly.

That explains it all, but I think it would look nicer without.

Well it would be a flying (T)eenage (M)utant Geeko Toe since it isn’t really attached to his foot.
