Steam on Leap 16 - does it work?

Hi Leap 16 users. Anybody using Leap 16 for gaming via Steam?

Such worked brilliant for me on Leap 15.6 by installing Steam from Flatpak and give it access via Flatseal; i installed ProtonUp-QT and used via that GE-Proton. With that i can play Mass Effect and even dinosaur games like Total Annihilation from 1997.

Is it the same on Leap 16? Or is there more to do for having the same for gaming?

Btw: I started looking with one eye in the direction of Debian 13.1 (coz also known to be reliable stable), but learned quickly that the aggravation for gamers is very much the same there. :cry:
