Lost mouse, 99% keyboard in kde wayland after zypper dup

Did a zypper dup last night, booted this morning, no issue entering password for decryption of /home and no issue entering password for kde login, then it loads desktop and I suddenly see a popup to adjust my network (its cable, not wifi), mouse is gone and keyboard hardly works (ctrl+alt+del works and some ctrl+alt+f1 or f3 which increases volume).
