I’m newbie to tumbleweed.
I’ve installed the plasma desktop.
I’ve tried to capture with Spectacle a rectangular area, but it complains I’m using X11.
I’ve opened a session with Wayland, and the screen goes black whenever I try to capture a rectangular region.
I’ve used a lot Spectacle with KDE Neon and used to work ok.
It works fine for me.
Did you try good old fashion reinstall?
Can you show the issue using another app?
