well i’ve seen the same issue but with some serious digging have learned the trick to this at least thanks in part to the wise words of oldcpu and a lot of trial and error(HCL for logitech can be a bit unclear or at times inaccurate)
open a terminal and use the command
lsusb
rpm -qa | grep kmp
if you can post the input here so we can take a look.
also kopete support msn and yahoo(thankfully)
aMSN provides video and once configured full blown video calls(while that can be a little tricky at times)

having all three sets of webcam drivers is not a good idea. if i’m not mistaken your camera is covered under the uvc drivers. remove all but the uvcvideo modules and you should be set
I am having exactly the same problem than “2takter”. WebKam, gqcam, camorama…don’t work. But my logitech cam works perfectly with lucview and kopete. Sadly lucview’s interface is not good.
I am using kde 4.2 and the latest kernel (which means there is no need for manual installation of usb webcam drivers; anyway the problem is still the same with drivers installed manually or not).
not necessarily true as the kernel version for 11.1 is not the same as 11.0 if you can verify your suse version and any additional output we can go from there
