Some strange messages!!! i dont get them at all

*** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB to enable).

the above lines always show up when i use the terminal to start firefox,thunderbird. I couldn’t understand what they mean.
Can some one tell me what exactly does this mean, and to stop it.
