Some hardware problems

Hi again!
I have some new problem with my Asus A6R:

  • sound (AC97) not work
  • sometimes the USB mouse freezed but the internal pointing device still work than

My notebook has AC97 integrated sound card, the linux system see as ATi IXP AC97 card but no soundā€¦ what should I do?

The audio works great when I turn off the external amplifier, thanks!

How should I disable the power management system? May it helps for the mouse freezingā€¦
