Skype blocking my sound for other apps

If I turn on skype on my suse every other sound apps like mplayer, xmms, etc are without sound. :mad:

What can I do about it?
In this momento I have to choose between skype or listen music on xmms.

I am using opensuse 11 + gnome 2.23.4 + Skype 2.0.0.72

Are you using Pulse Audio or Esound and if Pulse Audio have you removed any components such as alsa-plugins-pulse?
