I have about 120 GPX files that I view in GPXsee on an older computer (running 15.6) and I recently transferred the same files to a newer computer (also 15.6) and installed GPXsee there. On the older computer the GPXsee version is 13.9, using Qt5.15.12, while on the newer computer the version installed is 16.0, using Qt 6.6.3, although tghe 13.9 version still seems available.
In the 13.9 version what I regard as standard Linux behavior for file selection in open dialogues occurs: Shift-Click for selecting ranges, and Ctrl-Click for specific, non-contiguously-listed files. In the 16.0 version only the Ctrl-Click paradigm seems to work. The Shift-Click paradigm seems to a function of the size of the file-open dialogue window, in the sense that a single Shift-Click will select a range of files that appear in the column where I clicked, and I never get a chance for a second click. Hardly an emergency, but certainly annoying.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I guess I can always regress to the 13.9 version…
