Hi
Sounds like you have no DNS entries set and/or gateway.

Check via and also provide actual version of openSUSE;

cat /etc/resolv.conf
cat /etc/SuSE-release

my versión 13.2
I give thise code but I have same problema.
please give me advice.

thank you.

Hi

please help me what i do

thanks

Hi
So do you have the network running (as root user) run the following three command and post back the info?

rcnetwork status

ifconfig

lspci -nnk | grep -A3 'Eth\|Net'

PS, use code tags (The # in the editor menu when you post) around the output.

hi,
this messages give my computer

Hi
So only wireless and you created a bridge with this device?

Do you have a Desktop Environment installed, or just console level.

Looks like you need to re-configure the network and not use that bridge (br0) via YaST network settings so that only the wireless device is configured.

Or do you have an ethernet connection as well and it’s just not showing up (Disabled in the BIOS)?

To the OP:
Do you have some kind of virtualization installed? - In particular, xen, kvm?

If yes, then you will need to go into YAST > Network Settings > Routing tab

Then, specify not only your IPv4 Gateway but also the Device (dropdown at the right), specifying your br0 device (it’s probably currently specifying your physical wlp7s0 device). Then save your settings.

After the above, if you are configured as a DHCP client, you will need to restart your network services to pick up your DHCP network settings, otherwise if you’re configuring static addresses a network restart should be unnecessary.

systemctl restart network

If no (You don’t have virtualization installed),
Then YAST > Network Settings
Remove the br0 device, save your settings and reboot.

hi,
I do not know how can created a bridge with Wireless,
when I YaST software menagemant chack it give me under messages,

Download (curl) error for ‘http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/13.2/repo/non-oss/repodata/repomd.xml’:
Error code: Connection failed
Error message: Could not resolve host: download.opensuse.org

YaST network settings give me under messages,

name ip adress device
Intel WLAN controller NONE WLP7s0
Wireless network NONE br0

BIOS lan enabled

my computer have Windows 10 and opensuse, Windows 10 no have networking problema,

please give me reaply

thanks

Hi
OK, pop into YaST Software Repositories and uncheck the boxes for the online repos so they will be disable, ensure your original install media for openSUSE is present eg cd/dvd usb device.

That should get rid of one error.

Now go into YaST network devices and delete them all, open a console and disable the wicked service;

systemctl disable wicked.service

Then reboot the system, it should add the devices back in all unconfigured and can start afresh to add your wireless device via YaST Network Settings (you will also need to enable the wicked.service).

See how that goes, if the internet comes up, re-eanble to online repositories and update the system.

Although you can remove all network devices and reboot, hoping that network devices will be discovered and re-installed,

But I would still ask again (as I did in my previous post) if there is a reason <why> there is a br0 device in the first place.
If there is no good reason, then it should be removed.
But, if there is a good reason then it should not be removed.
The network device br0 is not created by accident, there should be a reason and unless you get to the bottom of this, you might find yourself repeating actions without making progress.

So, to the OP…
Please answer

Do you know why br0 was created?
In particular, do you have any kind of virtualization installed?

Then, your next action should be based on an informed decision.

hi,
now my computer firefox working but my computer notifications give a messages.
Download (curl) error for ‘http://download.opensuse.org/update/13.2/repodata/f6e2ea4b25f0adbf11656a3534fa20714858e1f6e5959b14c88820bb7c1a6a3c-deltainfo.xml.gz’: Error code: Connection failed Error message: Failed to connect to downloadcontent.opensuse.org port 80: No route to host

now If I go Yast—give a worning,
network currently handnled by network manager or completely disabled yast is unable to configure some option.

what i do now
please help me
thank you

“No route to host” is completely descriptive. You haven’t configured your default gateway correctly.
So, your Firefox probably isn’t really working… at least it won’t connect to anything outside your LAN.

If you are configured as a DHCP client, then the DHCP settings are wrong.
If you are manually configuring network settings, then you haven’t configured correctly
YAST > network settings > route tab
