Hey,
I’m running KDE on opensuse 11.2. I have the following issue. If I select some text in an application, then switch to another application and back to the first application, the text I had previously selected is deleted.
Don’t have a clue where to start looking, so any help would be really appreciated.

i think i saw the answer to this just a few days ago, somewhere in
these fora…suggest you use the advanced search function
<http://forums.opensuse.org/search.php> and see if you can find the
answer…i think there is a switch in Control Center or Personal
Settings…
or maybe it is a new 11.2 bug, i don’t now recall…

do you have scim-bridge-qt installed?
rpm -qa | grep scim-bridge-qt
try removing it if you have it installed
Yeah I have scim-bridge-qt installed, but I kinda needed it. Bit difficult to write Chinese without lol!
I had a good look through the forums, but couldn’t find anything about this. Maybe wasn’t looking hard enough.

i can’t find it either, but i know i didn’t dream it…and, i’m just
about positive there was a work around given…sorry…
