Hi,
Am loving scrotwm, a tiling window manager. And the conkyrc examples all show aciptemp as the command for showing the cpu temp in the bar. I can get an term out put from acpi -t and in conkyrc the command aciptemp prints out 0. Anybody? SuSE 11.4 64 bit. Thanks for any pointers.
Well as usual on this forum I need to answer my own question. The answer is: change acppitemp to hwmon tempf 1
As usual … you might have taken a look here: http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/how-faq-forums/unreviewed-how-faq/464737-easy-configuring-conky-conkyconf.html
Thanks for the link, didn’t find such when I searched. And in that link there wasn’t. any that I could find, reference to newer kernels and using hwmon. I don’t know if it matters and the quest was to do a fix in scrotwm bar that displays conky data.
Oh, sorry. I don’t know scrotwm actually, and the name “scrotwm” didn’t ring a bell. However ‘conkyrc’ did. But I should have read your first post before answering the second one. I don’t know anyone who’s using scrotwm. Maybe some will now.
