Screen wont turn off

I am running the latest TW update 08/28/2025
I have tried both X11 and Wayland and double checked the system settings Power management and screen locking. I also tried xset for X11 and kscreen-doctor for wayland but the screen just wont shut off, not even for a second

for wayland I tried:
kscreen-doctor --dpms off
for X11 i tried:
xset -display :0 dpms force standby

neither one does anything at all

I compared systems ettings against another dekstop pc that works just fine and both are set the same for Power Management and Screen Locking

This used to work but stopped a few updates ago (yes I only use zypper dup)
Any ideas?

Sorry, but we have asked you before to post output as pre-formatted text ( </> ). This is unreadable.

Did you already test with a fresh user profile? No problems here with Plasma Wayland. The display turns off after the defined time.
systemsettings->Power management

Did you check the energy and battery applet which application blocks the standby?

It turns out it was the nvidia driver 580.xx.x has bugs, installing a prev version solved the prblem
