screen resolution resets after reboot

Every time I reboot, my screen resolution goes back to 800x600. Is there a way to permanently set it to what I want?

I’m running OpenSuSE 11.2 using KDE.

Yes, you can just adjust /etc/X11/xorg.conf to include a preferred mode in the monitor section. Have a read of either of these:
