GNOME always had a screen lock button in the status bar. That appears to be gone in GNOME 48, opensuse 16.0. I can do it from the command terminal, but is there a quicker, easier way?
Super+L works here.
FWIW, though, on GNOME 50, the lock icon is here on TW.

The button is back! I was temporarily in the X display manger. After switching back to GDM and rebooting, the button returned.
