The problem: I press a key to enter a character, it doesn’t appear on the screen, but when I press another one, it appears. Or I move the caret with arrows and it react with a 1-2 second delay.
May be related to this issue.
But I suspect it’s more probably related to the fact I’ve messed up my repos a bit some time ago using opi, choosing and saving the lest general ones (e.g., not openSUSE:Factory
, but X11:LXQt
).
I may also need to completely reinstall qt components, I also suspect. How do I completely remove everything related to qt and install the latest available version (I believe it’s 6)?
One other possible relation: I’m using Wayland and not X11. I had issues like the screen becoming black after login when using Wayland, the zypper dup, IIRC, solved this.
Thanks to anyone who decides to look into this.
