I tried to use TLP to safely discharge my ThinkPad battery while on AC, but it complains of missing tp-smapi package; **“tp-smapi-dkms **(contrib repo) – optional ThinkPad only, tp-smapi[FONT=arial] is needed for battery charge thresholds and ThinkPad specific status output of tlp-stat”.
This information is however outdated as since 12.1 the Contrib Repo is depreciated, please advise. I am using 12.3+ (Tumbleweed.)
