Road-map to python 3.12

I’ve been searching in vain for some kind of road-map/timeline as to when openSUSE is planning on upgrading core python to version 3.12. In fact, I haven’t found any websites that have documented the previous version upgrades, either. I would assume that this transition is being tested somewhere; is this information available to the public?

Can someone point me in the right direction? Please note, this post is not about why python is still on 3.11; I’m personally using python 3.13 on all of my openSUSE systems, including LEAP.

Better place for this question would be the Factory mailing list.

OK, thanks. Can you be more specific? Is there only one Factory mailing list?

BTW there is apparently dedicated Python mailing list. Google search makes wonders.

Google, huh? Guess I should get out more. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
