I have several packages with the gcc compiler and related tools for ARM microcontrollers that I’d like to release as a public project. The best name for such a project would be CrossToolchain:arm.
The closest existing project is CrossToolchain:stm32, but it appears to be abandoned or inactive for several years. Only one of the three packages builds correctly. In my opinion, he name of this project is not the best, as ST is not the only manufacturer of ARM microcontrollers.
This portal is for bigger ARM devices that are capable to run Linux. I don’t expect this for something like that: The ‘world’s smallest microcontroller’ measures just 1.38 mm² and costs 20 cents | Tom's Hardware
