Iâm not entirely certain why you feel malcolmlewis has any more idea than anybody else, nor why you insist on blaming SUSE for this.
If you want the correct and proper answer, youâd need to contact the maintainers of the filesystems repository, either via bug report, or e-mailing them.
Iâll assist by providing a screenshot showing the existence of â15.7â and NO â15.6â sub-directory ⌠to show itâs goofed up before itâs fixed. I highlighted the error to make it obvious.
Itâs not only about the URL. Did you have a look at the package versions?
E.g.
fuse-0.4.1-150700.3.3.x86_64.rpm
And there are many repos and projects on OBS which provides packages for the never published Leap 15.7
It might be due to a former planning state that the next Leap version should have been based on SLES 15 SP7.
Even the official SUSE documentation refers to Leap 15.7

filesystems.repo (the only â15â repo is for â15.7â:
The Build Service auto delete bot sent an email saying hey this will be auto deleted in 30 days. If the Maintainer doesnât intervene then it will get auto deleted.
The maintainer (or Development Project maintainer) has decided to drop Leap 15.6 since itâs almost EOLâŚ
Even though that wasnât the actual question, hereâs a note regarding the 15.7 entry.
I noticed a 15.7 entry months ago in another repository.
I discussed it with the repository maintainers and asked them to revert to the SLE_15_SP7 naming convention for 15.7, as 15.7 suggests itâs part of Leap.
They refused. I canât remember the reasons. I think it was that there was no rule and they could do as they pleased.
So there was no point in discussing it further. It was pointless to continue the discussion.
The 15.7 mentioned here is therefore actually SLE_15_SP7.
That is not the subject of this topic (although it was started by information given by the TO). So may be a subject for a new topic (but I doubt that any openSUSE user has any interest in something that is offered for a version that does not exist and nobody cares for), or for a bug report (again for a openSUSE version that does not and will not exist).
My conclusion: nice for the TO here that his problem is solved, together with the advice to start planning the upgrade to 16.0.
I donât care what you do.
What youâre saying isnât right.
15.7 refers to a repository or version that definitely exists.
The repo for it used to be called SLE_15_SP7.
Now some people think it should be called 15.7. Which, in my opinion, is complete rubbish, because it suggests itâs a Leap repo. In fact, itâs an SLE repo.
But as I said, I donât care what you make of that information.
