Due to inappropriate behavior of a new user, the thread regarding Regata OS had to be closed.
Nevertheless, I took the trouble to take a closer look at this “operating system”. Here are a few reasons why this “operating system” is a very bad copy of openSUSE with major security issues and more. It is “maintained” by one guy. And “maintaining” means in this case, removing repos with security updates and adding countless not matching and untested repos. But see yourself…

test@test-pc:~>
- it uses the base Leap 15.5 OSS repo
- it does not have the SLE and backport repo, and misses security fixes due to this!
- it is missing the non-OSS update repo and misses security fixes due to this!
- it uses home repos
- it uses Tumbleweed repos on a Leap system
- it uses an unbelievable mess of mixed and unecessary repos…
- auto refresh disabled
- GPG check disabled
- …
Never seen such a mess before. Nobody with a basic understanding of system stability, integrety and security would ever use such a “operating system”.
