Recommended way to install ROCm on Leap 16

I had Nvidia GTX 1080 for a few years, which always used to give me various issues on openSuse Leap. Recently a mismatch with the kmp package and kernel meant that I was suffering from more crashes, and I decided to get a new GPU, and after some search decided on AMD 9070XT as it seemed better because its driver is included in the newer kernels.

I can’t, however, find any official guide about installing ROCm on Leap 16. The AMD pages mention SLES 15 only. I would rather not use Distrobox with Ubuntu.

I found this repo https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/science:/GPU:/ROCm/16.0/ but it isn’t mentioned anywhere.

What’s the recommended way to get ROCm working natively on Leap 16?
