How do I make RealPlayer 10 the default video for .rm files? I can use RealPlayer 10 to watch C-Span.org video but my Totem player pops up instead and shows error message “the stream is in the wrong format.” Where and how do I change this video and file default? OpenSuse 11.0 Gnome
Are you talking about as an imbed in your browser or as a local file?
If you have .rm file anywhere in your data, go to it. Right click - properties
then click the small spanner icon - in the next box you should be able to set real player at top of the list. If it’s not there, just add and make sure it’s at the top of the list.
Right click on the file choose open with get real player from the list and check the remember choice box
