RDP on Tumbleweed

If running GNOME desktop on the host, remmina is the client/server.

What is the SuSE server running?

Tumbleweed. So what is the connection from port 3359 (the incoming RDP request) and Remmina server? Obviously I have something missing in the connection.

@bryanharold So the system your trying to connect to is running Tumbleweed and the GNOME desktop? If so all you need to do is enable, allow sharing, set the port, username and password and should be good to go. As a test drop the firewall temporarily on the Tumbleweed target.

@bryanharold If you update the system to the latest snapshot as based on this link https://forums.opensuse.org/t/upgrade-broke-xrdp/194021/17 your issue may be fixed?

RESOLVED! OK, The (user) error… I had BOTH Remote Desktop and Remote Login enabled… which meant the RDP port is 3390 not 3389. Opening 3390 in the firewall, and changing the RDP client to use :3390 and all is good. I’m guessing when I started I had NOT enabled Remote Login, which kept the RDP port on 3389. Well, the good thing in this, I certainly went thru a lot of SuSE that I perhaps otherwise would not of. THANKS for your help!!
