I know that Qt apps that are not part of KDE 4.1 use the Qt 4 Settings application to set the look. However, when I try to change the progress bar color of external Qt apps to match that of KDE, the configuration doesn’t stick. Other settings, like widget animation, apply for the current session, but upon restart those settings are reset to default. How do I get Qt 4 Settings to apply permanently?
If you change some colors and then close the window it should ask you if you want to save. Click save and the settings will stick.
Do you know wether you can install new themes (or styles) in qt configuration? I would like to use the same theme in qt config as I use for normal kde apps (through kcontrol).
I have already tried Save. It doesn’t stick. The progress bar color is still reverted back to this dark purple color.
