qmmp v 1.1 was recently updated (automatically) and no longer plays aac, flac or opus. In settings/plugins, the aac, flac and opus decoders are no longer present. I checked the changes in snapper, and it said /usr/lib64/qmmp/Input/… libaac.so, libflac.so, and libopus.so were removed. Amarok still plays aac, flac and opus. I thought if the gstreamer plugins for aac, flac, opus, etc. were installed, then all apps would be able to play them, but maybe qmmp uses its own plugins? I don’t know if there is a way to make qmmp use gstreamer for decoding. Maybe I will just have to wait until they fix it in a future update of qmmp. Any suggestions?
do another vendor change with packman
what’s your repo list
zypper lr -d
I can confirm this useless behaviour of new qmmp (1.1.0-85.1) from Packman. I was able play neither ogg nor mp3.
I downgraded to 0.9.1-1.2 from openSUSE. Everythig is working without a problem.

I tried downgrading qmmp to version 0.9.1-1.2, and now it has the opus and flac decoders, but still no aac or mp3 decoders.
You are right. I tested functionality only with ogg files, because I do not usually use mp3.
It seems that Qmmp do not work with mp3 at all now.
just installed it to test it
there seams to be a bug with the ffmpeg plugin, if you want to play mp3 files disable the ffmpeg plugin and enable the plugin-mpg123
http://packman.links2linux.org/package/qmmp-plugin-pack
don’t forget to install it first
