[PSA] Kernel 6.17 is faulty

After updating to Slowroll 20251001 with new package kernel-default-base providing 6.17.1-1-default kernel, lots of issues including not being able to load some essential kernel modules and no GPU acceleration or external display. :warning:

Reverting to 6.16.9 kernel and locking the kernel-default and kernel-default-base packages solved issues.

Systemd logs of faulty boot:

I can also confirm the same as @pavinjoseph. Dell XPS 9500 and Dell XPS9520. Also, I’ve tried to install Leap 16 on the Dell XPS9500 and it gave me a Kernel panic tainted. in TW the XPS9500 experienced a similar error with the new kernels.
