Proton VPN unter Leap 15.6 bzw. 16.0 verwenden

ich habe versucht, den Proton VPN unter Leap 15.6 zu installieren, es funktioniert aber nicht.

Fairerweise muss man sagen, dass Leap 15.6 (bald 16.0) von Proton auch (noch) nicht unterstützt wird: How to use Proton VPN on Linux | Proton VPN - https://protonvpn.com/support/linux-vpn-setup

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie man das VPN dennoch ans Laufen bekommt? Im Moment benutze ich noch Leap 15.6, aber bald 16.0.

Da wir ProtonVPN nicht in Leap 16.0 haben, kannst du das devel Projekt hinzufügen.

Wenn du das Repo mit niedriger Priorität setzt, sollte es keine Probleme geben (was bedeutet die Prio muss über 99 sein).

Vielleicht könntest du mal die Flatpak-Version ausprobieren? Ich nutze sie so in Tumbleweed, und dort funktioniert ProtonVPN ohne Probleme.

I’d second the last reply as I have Proton working fine on Tumbleweed too, also via the Flatpak. I have also in the past set up some connections via the network manager by following their instructions & downloading a file & using that to set it up on the via the network manager, not sure if that would work on Leap?
