problem with the internet use CDMA modem

Hi,

I have just installed CDMA modem and using wvdial to connect to the internet.

some of the applications are working fine but firefox and pidgin are not. To get these work, I need to delete every time configuration folder ( /.mozilla/firefox & /.purple for pidgin) from the user directory. This problem coming when I am running these application in super user mode.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

The same problem is coming when I am using firefox and pidgin in the superuser mode. (neet to delete /.mozilla/ from /root to get this work).
